Conventional exercise and muscle training requires discipline, considerable time, and countless repetitions. In addition, there is continued concern about the effect of load (weights) on the joints, ligaments and tendons of the body. The Galileo recruits upto 90% of muscle fibres (compared to 40-60% on coventional machines) and can tone, increase muscle and strengthen bone without the constraints of traditional exercise, allowing people of all abilities to benefit from the Galileo experience.
To show you just how low impact Galileo training is we have compiled a list of graphs. The results prove just how low Galileo™ Training is compared to every day motions like walking, getting up from a chair, stair climbing, jumping on one leg and jumping on both legs.

The maximum forces are expressed as multiples of the body weight - 1g is equivalent to one times the body weight. As you can see the maximum forces transmitted to the user during Galileo™ training are about +30% of the Body Weight (assuming training without extra weight) and 20% less than walking
