Nov 2008 - Local Authority Gyms continue to embrace Galileo

Huntingdon is the most recent local authority to offer Galileo to their community. Galileo's strong research provides piece of mind and the unique movment encourages continued "The fantastic thing about Galileo is that it is not restrictive and can be used by the vast majority of our members, both young and old for a whole manner of purposes including GP referals".

Galileo is currently available within the following Local Authority Leisure Centres. Bracknell, Woking, Salford, Mid-Lothian & West Lothian.

Oct 2008 - Deutsche Bank, Adidas and Alcan have all recognised the benefits of using galileo with their employees. Galileo can be used to reduce back pain,increase flexibility, help de-stress or simply provide massage. A great way to keep your employees healthy and relaxed in a busy corporate environment.

World champion trains on Galileo®
Triple- jump world champion Charles Friedek and German Long Jumper Nils Winter have both been working with Galileo since the beginning of the year. Both athletes are training hard for the forthcoming Olympic Games in Beijing. Coach Sebastian Hess states “The emphasis of the training with Galileo lies momentarily in the range of the Proprioception and the improvement of co-ordination, and accelerated regeneration after intensive training”

Jan 2008 - New England Patriots & New York Giants both head to the Superbowl. We would like to congratulate them on their hard work and for making the Galileo a key part of their fitness/rehab training.

Dec 2007 - Shaq uses Galileo as part of his rehabilitation programme at the Miami Heat Training Centre. Shaquille O'Neal who recently occured a knee injury was filmed stepping onto a Galileo vibration unit to help with his rehabilitation.

Berlin Bed Rest 2
The center for muscle and bone research (ZMK) Charité completes this week the second Berlin BedRest study (BBR 2). Scientists of the Berlin research group examine effects of vibration training (Galileo) on muscle and bone in weightlessness condtions, just like in Space. Aug 2007 - Sunderland FC choose Galileo technology for training in the Premiership. The team are using the top of the range Sport and the portable Basic for training and rehabilitation.

Galileo Space proves successful during parabola flight campaign.
A key part of the parabola flights was to ensure the vibrations did not transfer outward, for example not to damage the structure of a space station. Over the four-day flight campaign 120 successful parabola flights were taken, a positive result for the future employment of Galileo training in Space.

Galileo takes to the air!

The Galileo space developed for space travel will be tested at the end of of May with several parabola flights in Berlin. This is the first time Galileo training will be conducted in weightlessness conditions.
